Learn Satit Pattana (LSP) (the “School”, “we”, or “us”) is the data controller for the LSP Connect app (the “App”).

The App provides school-related digital services to authorized users. In its first version, the App is available to authorized students for viewing school news, announcements, and updates.

The App does not use personal data for advertising and does not track users across other apps or websites.

This policy describes the personal data processing that happens specifically through the App. For the School’s overall data practices, please see the School’s master Privacy Policy.

Through the App, we process only the data needed to provide the service:

• Account / authentication data: the identifier (Learn ID) and account issued by the School through Learn Portal, plus basic profile data needed to show relevant content, such as name and class/level.
• Technical & usage data: device model, operating system, app version, IP address, diagnostic/crash logs, and in-app usage data.

The App is not designed to collect sensitive personal data through the App itself; sensitive data is handled under the School’s master policy. For minors, see Section 7.

We do not use data for advertising or user tracking. The full list of purposes is in the School’s master policy.

Accounts in the App are institution-managed. The School — via LSP Connect — creates, manages, and controls the data. Students and parents do not self-register; they sign in with an identity issued by the School through Learn Portal. There is no account registration or creation inside the App.

Account changes and deletion: because these are organization-managed accounts, the App does not offer in-app self-deletion (consistent with app store requirements for organization-managed accounts). A user or parent/guardian can request deletion or changes by:

• In the app: Settings → “Request account deletion”, which sends a request to the School’s administrator; or
• Contacting the registrar’s office at 065-518-8476 or emailing academic@lsp.ac.th

We share data only where necessary, and we do not sell personal data:

• Service providers / processors: cloud infrastructure and storage service providers, acting only on our instructions.
• Government authorities: where required or lawfully requested (see the master policy for detail).

Cross-border transfer: The School may transfer your personal data to recipients abroad where necessary to perform a contract to which you are a party, or a contract made between the School and another person in your interest, or to act on your request before entering a contract, or to prevent or suppress danger to the life, body, or health of you or others, to comply with law, or to carry out an important public-interest task.

The School may store your data on servers or cloud services operated by third parties and may use third-party software or platforms to process it. It will not allow unrelated parties to access the data and will require those providers to maintain appropriate security measures.

Where data is transferred abroad, the School will comply with personal data protection law and apply appropriate measures to ensure your data is protected and that you can exercise your related rights, including requiring recipients to process the data only as necessary and to prevent unauthorized use or disclosure.

We keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes above and as required by education law. Specific retention periods follow the School’s master policy.

We maintain reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, such as access controls, encryption in transit, and restricted administrator access.

Your PDPA rights: to access and obtain a copy, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object, port your data, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with the relevant authority.

Minors: the App’s users are all students who are minors (under 18). Processing is carried out with the highest protection: users under 10 require guardian consent, and users aged 10–20 are handled per the master policy; for consent-based activities unrelated to education services the School obtains consent directly from parents/guardians, who may also exercise rights on the minor’s behalf (see master policy Sections 4–5 and 12).
